This wax is not well known. I heard about it on an auto website and they talked about this wax as being the best wax by far for the cost. All I care about is protecting my vehicles to the max, shine is a nice bonus. If you are like me this is your wax, it will be the only wax you will ever buy again. I have tried products from Zaino, Duragloss, Klasse, "Meg's", and Mothers. I liked some of those waxes but Collinite 476 is very tough (water will bead 4 months later in the peak FL. summer), easy to remove if you follow the directions, it shines beautifully and maybe best of all cost effective. You should be able to give the leftover wax to someone in your will because it lasts a long time. I give it 5 stars. Note: Some say it is very hard to remove, and it is compared to paste like Megs Gold Class, but if you do sections and apply sparingly it is easy to buff off. With a tool like a Porter Cable 7xxx you will enhance any wax more IMO. I do it by hand.

For years, I have tried all kinds of car polish. I prefer paint protection (to UV, harsh weather, etc.) and durability over the shine. After years of work, I narrowed down to NuFinish that gave protection for about 4-5 months (instead of a year) as my car is always outdoors. I did wax my car 5-6 times over about 18 months and to my horror discovered that NuFinish left white spots on my car which were so hard to remove. I then discovered Collinite and used it... this is the best wax I ever used.

Collinite was very easy to apply, very easy to take off (as compared to NuFinish). The beading and sheeting properties are excellent. I placed an empty plastic glass on the boot cover of my camry and it simply slipped off!

I think I am going to use this wax for a long time... especially when I had to wash two cars with a small toothbrush to take the white NuFinish residue off the body and plastic parts of my camry and corolla.... believe me, my hands hurt for a couple of days. Collonite does not leave a residue of any sorts hence I like it even better! Can't comment on how many months it lasts as I just waxed both cars a couple of days ago.
